Me and Em again - what colour is forest?

Am really struggling to differentiate all the colours - assume its a very dark green?
Can anyone confirm and describe it for me please?

I asked the same question on another thread (am waiting delivery on the cowl neck dress in forest green and haven't seen it IRL) and I asked whether it is like an olive green but apparently it is very dark blue toned green. Sorry this is a rather hypothetical answer but saw you hadn't had any replies!

I ordered one of the me&em dresses in that colour but was the wrong shape for me. The colour is as pp described. Very dark green. More of a black colour with a hint of green. I loved it but being short I don't seem to suit the dresses at all.

Megan thanks for confirming the colour which sounds great. Now I am wondering whether the dress will be too long for me (I am just over 5'2'')? I need to find a good alterations person!

I bought the forest green after seeing it in the shop. It's as Scripsi said (I told her) - very dark forest green, not dark olive green. And as to length, I am 5'4" and it comes to just above my knees but you could bunch/ ruche it up a bit more if you like. I am now tempted to get the Hush black ruched skirt when it goes on sale as I also want a similar, shorter skirt.

I am also keen on the Hush skirt, will be interesting to see what reductions are about.
