Leg shaving - how often should I be using a new razor

I shave my legs and armpit probably every other day but I don't seem to remember to replace my razor very often. How often would you change to a new razor?

When the blade isn't sharp anymore! Mine seems to dull after a few uses. How the hell have you gone so long without it starting to pull at your skin and not actually shave very well anymore?

Oh. Ummm..... probably before it goes rusty.
That's about my judgement - or when it stops working.
I have used them for weeks, but I only shave once or twice a week.

I don't replace mine as often as I should. I use the Gillette venus blades and change when the soapy moisture pads disappear. Maybe once a month but I only shave once/ twice a week.

I use mine for aaaaaages.. Weeks normally of daily use. My legs haven't fallen off yet.

I'm sure the makers of the blades would like us to believe that they need o be replaces every other use but im sure that's just to make more money.

Infact I can't even remember the last time I changed the blade might have been before I went on holiday, in July

As long as you don't use your DP's razors, then rinse them under a tap and put the protective cover back on and let him think it's ok, then cuts his face because it's been blunted.

I think mine was august! [shocked]
