Haircut for a classic gamine?

I've been diagnosed by a House of Colour consultant as being a classic gamine, and am now wondering whether my hairstyle is the best one. Hair at the moment is a bob with fringe pretty much like this (although less shiney), slightly tapered up at the back.

But the obvious gamine hairstyle is the pixie cut, and I'm not sure if I could carry it off. I have big eyes, but also a nose that is on the large, rather than petite, side, and big lips. Any advice?

Agree a pixie is the classic gamine cut but your current hairstyle is gamine too, being above the shoulders and with a fringe. You could have it in a longer bob and your fringe thicker and it would still be gamine, as long as it was a sharp cut with not too many layers. I think you might regret a pixie, unless you really love them and are dying to try it.

Hm, still not sure. Just a bit bored with current cut, but not keen on frequent haircuts, or the possibility of having to grow out a pixie...Will probably end up keeping it as is, after all this!

I agree with TiC, and your current style reminds me a bit of Audrey Tautou, who is deffo gamine but doesn't (always) have a pixie cut. Also, thinking on Michelle Williams: I'd say she doesn't particularly have elfin features, but her pixie cut made her 10x more striking IMO.
