GHDs or Big Hair?

I have long, thick, frizzy hair the texture of terrier fur. I really need to sort it out as I'm sick of clipping it up. So what's best - GHDs or Babyliss Big Hair to smooth it out and make it shine?

Sounds like my hair. Couldn't live without my Babyliss Big Hair and straightners for the final touch. You need both.

Aaagh I don't think I could cope with two gadgets! I need something that I can either use for 10 mins at night or under a minute in the morning.

I find the Big Hair far more useful than straighteners and easier to use too.

Wide GHD's are the best things ever for my long, thick, frizzy hair

My hair is very thick, very strong and prone to frizz. honestly the very best thing i ever did was do a home Brazilian blow dry. it is a keretin treatment you apply and then wash out 4 days later. it will change the texture of your hair dramatically, making it smooth and lovely and like the shampoo ads for about 2-3 months afterwards. If you want your hair straight then straighten it while the treatment is in and keep straightening it every day until you wash it out. It will keep it straight for around 2-3 months. i never cared about straightness, i just wanted to alter the texture and make it easier to manage so just used the straighteners when first applying and never bothered retouching it.

I bought mine from here:
www.ebay.co.uk/usr/keratin-at-blondies
Cost me something like £20. The same treatment in a salon costs £200

After you have done the treatment, then get the big hair (which is my current favorite thing in the universe) and you can have lovely smooth hair with body and bounce and lots of swooshiness.

I have both. I only straighten my hair about once a week and the rest of the time it is pulled back in a pony tail a la school run mum. I keep my big hair plugged in downstairs and use it on my fringe in the morning sometimes/definitely not every day
I too have thick, long, wavy, massive hair. Big hair would not do my whole head from start to finish, gets a bit complicated and tangled.

If you only choose one, then the straighteners undoubtedly.

Fab, thank you for these. Still can't decide though.
