Hi, my DD and I have very straight hair and are going to go halfs on a styler to curl our hair.

Is the babyliss secret curl worth the money or is there something better and cheaper?

Anyone got any recommendations thanks

I got the babyliss curl secret for Christmas. Its good but its no better than my heated rollers which cost a third of the price.

Is it any quicker? I think I really like the idea of it, but want lots of people to tell me it's brilliant for that much money!!

What brand of heated rollers have you got if you don't mind me being nosy!!

I have a lot of hair. That might the the problem. It took quite a while to do all of it. Ive only used it once so maybe I haven't got the hang of it. I wanted to love it but I didn't. The rollers are handier. I can put them in fairly quickly and do my make up while I'm waiting. The curl secret is quicker over all but there's no down time. I had a pain in my arm by the end of it.

Just use your straighteners. I loved doing "GHD" curls when I had long hair- loads of tutorials on YouTube
