Project 333 in 2014 - whose with me?

33 items of clothing, shoes, jewellery and outerwear rotated ever 3 months. The rules are here: theproject333.com but what are yours?

I've been in post-baby style slump and so I've self diagnosed my colours; culled my wardrobe (out with the tatty, maternity, jumpers with holes and stuff that will never, ever get worn); thrown out my 10-year old makeup and invested in a small selection of stuff that might get used AND I'm planning to Project 333 next year. I've adapted the rules a little bit though - allowing myself 10 piece of jewellery excluding watch and wedding ring and at the moment I'm not including coats because I can't harmonise style and function!

So - whose joining me? Do you have your own rules? And if you've been doing this for a while, what are your top tips?

i spent a month or so making myself wear something i hadn't worn for ages each day. it could be jewelry or shoes or clothes. then once i had gone through my cupboards doing this, if there was stuff that was clearly unusable or i hated so much it made me depressed when i wore it, i binned it. it also showed me some nice stuff i had that i had got out of the habit wearing.

I couldn't do this! I have too many clothes I like wearing to restrict myself to such a small amount!

I do this anyway- completely accidentally but I don't own 33 items to wear all year round. Just make sure it's good quality or it won't last.

I'm in, I have massively reduced my wardrobe anyway recently. The part that concerns me is wearing different clothes every 3 months as often tops, jeans, etc are fine all year round? I might customise it so I rotate a few obvious items but keep 5-10 essentials all year.

Ok so I've just read the linked web page and it seems like you don't need to totally change every item every 3 months, but re-choose the 33 from your wider stash. That sounds easier!

I wear fewer than 33 items; I tend to wear my favourite clothes all the time. I struggle to declutter though. I would welcome help with that!
