I keep seeing people with either glittery nails or little cute Santa designs. What do you ask for in the nail salon as they don't seem to be either gels or acrylics???

my daughter did my glittery nails
Rouge Noir with a Barry M glitter top coat on top

I am sporting rimmel space dust in silver and it's brilliant. By far the best glittery polish I've used.

2 coats of a bright red glittery Barry M with No.7 topcoat to add shine. Just done them - they look great!

I too have Tinseltown by Barry M to use as a top coat - so far have tried it with purple, dark berry, bright red and black underneath and all look good.

Youtube videos like those made by MissJenFabulous have loads of ideas for simple nail art including Xmas themed designs.

I have Ruby Ritz shellac, a super sparkly red. My nail tech hand-draws designs using either gel or shellac. She's ace. Or, it could be a sticker put on after colour but before the topcoat in either shellac or gel.

I have green glittery gel nails, on my ring finger I have red gel with a present drew on top with a diamonte.

They are gel. So you can ask for gel names all Christmassy.
