Tights for the larger lady.. :)

I am a size 18 but huge of arse, belly and thigh.
I live in opaques through the winter , but even struggling in M&S XL these days, quality and sizing just doesn't feel the same.

Any brand recommendations for a pair that actually stay up ?

I'm very similar shape wise to you, plus quite tall and I'm loving Primark's opaques this winter.

I'm 5ft 8 - loving the idea of Primark as not spendy and like to have a million pairs on the go - thanks!

I'm bigger than you and tall and still find M and S tights (nude and opaque ) very good.

But I only buy their more expensive Autograph tights never the basic ones because I much prefer their quality. Don't know if the fit is more generous but perhaps you could try them if you haven't. The merino 100 denier are particularly good.

Spanx do fantastic tights in 9 sizes, so you will actually find a pair to fit your height and hips. They aren't cheap but they are indestructible so work out better value than everything else.

M and S Autograph never do on me. And I'm 5'9'' and a size 22.

Tescos XL are fine for me, size 20/22 big thighs and I'm 5'10

I buy mine from Asda, their XL tights are fine for me and I am larger than you. I hate tights that don't come high enough on the waist or that dig in but these are good
