Has anyone had botox and it not work?

I'm sure everything is fine and I'm just being impatient. I had botox on Tuesday morning and I was told that it could take a few days for the affects to show but I've had absolutely zilch! This is my first time and I'm paranoid that i've paid £170 for nothing.

Please tell me I will start seeing results soon?

Takes about 3 days. So tomorrow morning there probably be the beginning of a change. I think Dysport works a bit faster, Botox a bit slower. It also depends on the dose. Are you due back for review in 2 weeks?

Yes I am, but it will probably be more like 3 weeks what with christmas and NY.

It will work, just bide your time!

Mine took a week the 1st time. After that 48 hours.

The first time I had therapeutic botox it took 3 1/2 days to work. I was getting a bit upset, then woke up in the morning and, ta da! Obv as it was therapeutic, the result was easy to see

Thank you everyone for putting my mind at rest. I'm beginning to wonder if it wasn't that wise having it done so close to christmas. We are going to stay with lots of family from Boxing Day onwards and not really relishing the thought of my face looking slightly different each day!
