Can anyone help to find me a pair of wrist warmers that are not too chunky please? Preferably not too long either and nice and close-fitting. The ones I have are ok but are v. baggy

would you consider making some? A friend of mine had a gorgeous grey angora pair, which where very delicate. Some one had knitted them for her

I really like these Brora ones

Try Toast or M&S. The Toast ones have thumbs in but are more like wrist warmers than fingerless gloves and they are lovely. I also have a cashmere pair of wrist warmers without thumbs that I got from M&S (Autograph) a couple of years ago, and I believe they still sell similar ones.

The best IMO are Brora, they are really warm and I love them. I also have some from Pure but they really are very fine knit and I'm not keen.

I have several Brora pairs I bought in the sale. They do reduce them so if you hang on you may get lucky after Christmas!

Thank you ladies. The Bora ones are £££ but gorgeous and I think it'd definitely be worth a look in M&S.

I made some today from a pair of beautiful stripey socks that are now too small for dd. I cut the feet off with a sharp pair of scissors, so they have one neat end and the cut end just curls back slightly and looks rather nice. I am pleased Smile

I have several pairs of the Brora ones because they are the best I have found by a long way.
