Santa is bringing a bag - zatchel? Victorian lace?

It's the last year my boys will all believe in FC. They have asked for a handbag for mummy. I'm really tempted to get a zatchel with 'love from Santa' personalised inside. I love Victorian lace. But, it's 142 quid. That's my whole budget for me. (saved like mad for Xmas). But it would be cool if it's not crappy. Any ideas?

I have the gothic lace little bucket bag, bought at Bicester when they had a pop up shop there, it was about £30. I do like it as a bag for evening, and I like that it looks quite dressy. (My style is not at all 'gothic', but it works well with my clothes).

Just a warning about other Zatchel bags. I bought a small saddle bag in pewter when they did the 50% discount. While I like how it looks, the finish is super delicate. I gave definitely not used the bag more than 10 times, it has become very scuffed, despite me being really careful with it - I don't put my bags on the floor for example. I would definitely not recommend the pewter at all.

That's really interesting. I am really worried about that actually. I have ordered the lace satchel and was hoping to use it a lot. I didn't order candy as it says the finish on that is delicate.

Yes it already did. Christmas Eve - if I hadn't personalised it I would have cancelled.
I do think it was a bit mean bearing in mind I ordered in a tiny gap between two lots of sales. Prob will use somewhere else next time - there's lots of other companies to choose from
