It do I need skinnier trousers? I'm going back to work from mat leave next months. I've basically been living jeggings and ankle boots for last few months and would like to wear that to the office but must try and be a bit smart any help welcome!

I think the boots would go under those trousers. If you wanted some to tuck in you would need a much tighter ankle.

Yes they look like they would tuck in.

I have those trousers, they are very flattering. I wear then with ballet flats or tan loafers. I haven't worn/tried them with boots. I'm 5"2 and they come down just past my ankles.
