Please help! Smart casual ideas for two working days plus informal meal out... Skinnies, wedge boots? Dress and fly boots? Need to travel light...

I travel overnight for work a lot. The key is the footwear! If you can get one pair to cover all three purposes (two days at work and one evening out) it significantly reduces the amount you have to take.

My usual strategy is wear a work dress with knee length boots day one. Evening wear skinnies or black trousers tucked into the boots with a nice top or jumper and statement necklace. Day two a different dress with the same boots. HTH.
