I need bra help <sob>

I am a 'weird' size due to skinny ribs and totally sick of the same bloody bra over and over again in different colours.
To make matters more complicated it either has to be nursing bra or a non wired bra that I can convert with nursing clips (it's no good trying to talk me into wired bras, I've never had one that was as comfy as unwired)
How hard is it to take in a bra? any experience?
Any other suggestions?
please??

OK, so you're looking for a nursing bra or one that can be converted?

What are your measurements, using this guide?

Ladyface · 16/12/2013 18:50

Have you been measured? I would go to a John Lewis with a big lingerie department so you can try on lts of different styles. What size are you wearing at the moment and how does it fit? Also, how long have you had that one?

CarefullyAirbrushedPotato · 17/12/2013 00:32

At this very moment I'm wearing a hotmilk blaze 30D, but even though it's brand new it has to be on the third set of hooks to make it tight enough.
Panache Sophie fit ok-ish. Royce Sadie fit well, but I don't currently have the right size in either (I've been shrinking). I find that royce come up tight on the band and panache come up big on the band.

just under 28 under bust, 34.5 or 35 overbust (depending on how peckish the toddler beast has been)

Based on those measurements I would suggest starting at a 28e or 28f

You can take in a bra band. Easiest way is to remove the clips at the back, cut a small amount of fabric and then reattach.

thanks for the suggestions.
the cup on the panache sophia 28f is too large and the e is too small.
royce charlotte doesn't fit right in either size.

that leaves me back in a royce sadie. again. i think I might give up wearing a bra altogether actually, it's an expensive and pointless passtime lately.

Converting normal bras is quite easy and may be a good option

Bravado bliss. Have 3. Gives a much more normal shape than usual nursing bras. Cup sizes very small though so get a larger cup size than your usual measurements. Got them from nursingbra shop (sorry can't work out how to add link on my ipad).
