Please recommend me a nice make up brush set

Up to £60 for dd for Xmas , have looked at Bobbie brown but way too expensive ..

Real techniques or Eco Tool maybe? you can both of them in superdrug and boots

why not just buy a couple of brushes and add to them over the years? I've started collecting BB brushes rather late in life and they are great- makes so much of a difference. so far I have the blusher brush, and 2 eye shadow brushes- one for all over colour and one for the crease line- and a foundation brush. I buy one every 6 months as a 'treat'.

Real techniques set down to £15 on amazon (6 brushes I think?) Usually single brushes are £10-15. They are FAB!!

Mac have lovely brushes
I've spent a fortune in my time on brushes but I'm now a Real Techniques convert too. Buy them in Boots or online.Lots of lovely money left over to buy makeup with! .

I've switched over from MAC. They are the best brushes ever.

I got a set from Costco a few years back, they are brilliant, I only use a few but are very good quality and I think around £20. If you can get there I'd recommend them.

Seriously are they really better than Mac?

I have a Mac set that is getting ancient now and could do with replacing. Why are they so cheap? Have most got artificial tips?

Another vote for Real Techniques - best brushes I have ever owned!

Real Techniques are all synthetic bristles (so no wee animals were involved in the making), but the fibres are lovely and soft and very fine, so they work very well for both cream and powder products. They wash well and dry quickly.

If your budget is up to 60 pounds for your DD, why not get her some Real Techniques brushes and an Urban Decay eyeshadow palette. I'd love you if you were my mum .
