My XH's other DD (ie not my DD's) is getting christened next sunday. She is 6.
My 2 DD's are going. They are 5 and 12 (yes its complicated).
5yr old is easy, she has lovely dresses and likes to be girly.
12 yr old not so, she is lovely, but wears jeans and leggings with crops/T's. She has no dresses and one short skater skirt.
I should also say I am Jewish, and have never been to a christening. I have no idea what she should/can wear, nor do I want to spend a fortune.
I asked her to ask her dad, true to form, he said "something nice" and when she asked further shrugged and told her to ask me to sort it out. He wont see them again now till the christening.

Something like this?

AT my DS's christening people wore everything from a dress with boots (me) to jeans and a t shirt.
