...that doesn't smell flowery or, heaven forbid, fruity.

I am nearing the end of a really large tub of Superdrug Vitamin E stuff that smells very overpowering. I like some fragrance but just a little more subtle, dare I say, classy? Not £££ though please.

Neutrogena is good for around £4.99- the sensitive one is unperfumed. Sali Hughes swears by it.

Palmers cocoa butter- without the perfume.

Garnier is ok though a bit watery imo.

All of these are less than a fiver.

Aveeno.

I echo Aveeno - the one in the pump bottle with almond oil in.It smells lovely.

libertychick · 11/12/2013 23:06

Aveeno is excellent but I also like Nivea Soft - v cheap.

Palmers fragrance-free still smells a bit cocoa buttery but only a bit and it's very natural-smelling. If you have an Afro-Caribbean beauty shop near you, they'll sell it in massive pump bottles as well as the regular bottles, and cheaper than Boots. Aldi Lacura body lotion is fab.

Thank you ladies. No Aldi near us unfortunately. In Lidl today however, I saw the 'Suddenly, Madam ...' shower gel and body lotion for £3.99, that might be nice. I'll go and have a sniff of your recommendations.

Alveeno gets my vote too!
