New Look Shoe Sizing

Can anyone tell me if they tend to come up small or large? I am a Next/M&S 8 wide fit. I'm wondering whether to take a punt on some ebay shoes, so advice welcome. Would sizing up to a 9 be a good idea? Would a 9 wide fit be too big?

I find them very small and I am an 8 wide fit too - it doesn't help that they think size 41 is an 8 when actually it's a 7 as everybody knows!
I have not tried their size nines so couldn't say for sure.

I found them to be pretty spot on with sizing but I am a much smaller size so don't really know if the bigger sizes are true to size. I do know though that the wide fit is quite generous, I size down by half a size when I opt for wide fit in new look shoes if that helps at all.

No -I found their 8 normal fit too short and too narrow- haven't seen wide fit in the shop.

I am an 8 and usually buy an 8. Although the 8's in there I tried on the other day were a bit big but the 7's too small. ( I still bought the 8 though).

I think it must depend on the person because I can't fit M&S size 8's on my feet, but all my New look heels are an 8. Very confusing!

come up incredibly small for me. I'm a 7.5 and have to get their 9's and even found some of them tight! and 9's are hard to find. Same with Topshop.. always 9's
