Tell me....

which do you rate? Don't care if they are high st and cost £3 or high end £30. I tend to use till they are gone and lasts me for ages.

I am looking for a neutral palette with 3-4 shades of beige-grey. Just come to the end of my Chanel one in Prelude but one pan is unused- very dark and suppose it's an eye liner. I liked Dior 5 shades- Incognito- but again there was at least one pan unused .

Currently using B Brown in Bone and Grey but they'll go on for ever they are so big, and the grey is a bit too dark.

Don't fancy Urban Decay simply because I never get to the end of huge palettes.

Sleek. Sleek every time, for any palette. Their neutral palette is called Au Naturel.

MUA's Heaven And Earth really isn't bad though.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/12/2013 18:13

Came on to say Urban Decay Naked. It's excellent. Can't help otherwise, sorry.

StatisticallyChallenged · 08/12/2013 18:15

I think they've made a smaller version of urban decay naked. Its called basics I think. Their eyeshadow is brilliant

Nectarines · 08/12/2013 18:16

When I saw post title I immediately thought of urban decay naked 2. It's brilliant! You will use all of the colours!!

whereisshe · 08/12/2013 18:17

Too Faced Naked Palette. I need cool-toned make up and it's PERFECT for day time.

LittleBabyPigsus · 08/12/2013 18:17

Oh and NYX Nude On Nude but that's only available online or very very rarely in TK Maxx.

claretandamberforever · 08/12/2013 18:19

Urban Decay Naked!!

ZacharyQuack · 08/12/2013 18:25

The UD naked ones are all excellent, or try Stila In The Light or Smashbox Fade In or Bare Minerals Power Neutrals or TheBalm Nude Tude.

foolssilver · 08/12/2013 18:28

I know you said not Urban Decay but they are launching one called Naked 3 which looks like it has more greyish tones.

I've never used another one since buying the original naked but prior to that I had a chanel one which was nice. Can't remember name and it was a few years ago but they probably still do it.

varigatedivy · 08/12/2013 18:29

Looked at UD and Naked 3 looks much more pink.

I can't do shimmer of frosted- too old and too many lines on lids.

Definitely urban decay naked 2. It's much more matte than the other two. Amazing palettes!

TallulahBetty · 08/12/2013 18:34

MUA's version of the naked palettes. £4 each and amazing quality.

VivaLeBeaver · 08/12/2013 18:35

Urban decay naked 2.

varigatedivy · 08/12/2013 18:45

Thanks- looks like UD or one of Stilas- they do a mini palette for around £14.50- just need to see in the flesh.

where do you all buy your UD? Only Debs or H of F seem to stock.

www.hqhair.com/health-beauty/brands/urban-decay.list

foolssilver · 08/12/2013 19:00

The official naked 3 photos do look more pinky, I saw a bloggers pic which wasn't great quality. Shame cos it looked nicer in the ons I saw. I'm sure I'll still be tempted though!

I get mine from Debenhams as HoT near me doesn't sell it.

INeedSomeHelp · 08/12/2013 19:42

On the MUA site you can buy an empty palette and then fill it with whatever combination of colours you want. Doesn't have to be all eyeshadow - I got a couple of blushers. I think they have two different sizes too.

ShreddedHoops · 08/12/2013 19:58

Urban Decay Naked Basics - the only palette I use every shade in! Might be too warm toned if you prefer greyey taupe colours, but they are all matte, no shimmer at all.

mewkins · 08/12/2013 20:22

I like the MUA ones and particularly their fairly new matte one which has a good mix of lights and darks in neutral shades. Will also try sleek ones at some point.

XiCi · 08/12/2013 21:00

Agree the MUA ones are brilliant value for money. I have a few urban decay shadows and find the MUA ones have more pigment and are longer lasting for a fraction of the price.

Yoghurty · 08/12/2013 21:08

You can buy empty MAC palettes and put individual colours into it, that's what I do as I was forever having an unused colour in pre-filled collections.

My current one has bone, mulch, patina and satin taupe in it. If one runs out, I can just replace it.

It's about £10 a pan and a few pounds for the palettes- a but pricey, but I use it every day and there is no waste.

ZacharyQuack · 08/12/2013 21:26

How about getting an empty three or four pan palette from Bobbi Brown and add another shadow or two to Bone and Grey? Cement is lighter than Grey, Slate is darker, Heather is lavender/grey, Wheat is a lovely light grey/brown.

varigatedivy · 08/12/2013 22:07

yes was thinking about cement.

I have naked 2 and it's too big for me, the basics sounds great, that's what I'd go for if I was choosing again.

There's a naked 3 now but it seems very pink/ red based which look shit on me.

NoComet · 08/12/2013 23:23

I've never heard of MAY, teen DD stockings/ birthday bits sorted I think.
