ghd straighteners

Thinking of getting dd some ghd straighteners for Christmas. Know nothing about them, basic straighteners work on my hair, are they really any better than 'normal' straighteners? Also, are all their different ones the same even though they're different prices? Dd has long hair which is thickish ...
TIA

Yes they really are better IMVHO. Ceramic so less damaging to hair than metal, and every hairdresser I have ever been to uses them. I love mine, they have lasted for years, and work very quickly.

Yes GHDs are better than normal straighteners. I have very thick frizzy hair and wouldn't be without mine.

I had the wide ones when my hair was long but just have the nornal ones now.

Thanks. There's some on Amazon for £89 ... is that a good price?

Mine are v old and were £110 so I'd say that was a good price
