L'Occitane almond shower oil

I bought this following recommendations on this board, but I'm really disappointed with it.

I don't seem to be able to wash with it. Its just oil and doesn't lather up - I get oiled, but not washed. Am I doing something wrong?

Oooh I love the Almond Oil.
I bought the Almong Gel once by mistake (bottles are nearly identical) and though it's nice enough (and foamy) it doesn't leave the delicious aroma of the oil.

I use the oil on one of those shower puffy things. It's more 'milky' than foamy IMO

I bloody love this stuff. And the milk moisturiser.

I use it on a body puff too. If you don't like it post it to me, I adore it! :)

Oh, I love that product!

It doesn't lather though; it's not supposed to. What I go is apply the oil, massage it in and then add water. It turns milky on the skin. Love the fragrance as well.

Send it to meeeeeeeeeeeeee.

It's great for shaving legs.

I also got it on recommendations from here. I don't get the hype at all.

I picked up a bottle in the charity shop for £1.50, so I was very pleased!

I love it.

I use it on an exfoliating glove (I do this with everything, actually). It lathers up a bit, enough to get a good wash all over, but not as much as shower gel or soap.
