I'm messing around with my daughter and we want to make a face mask, anyone know of a recipe that uses fairly basic stuff?

Have you any avocados? Great base for softening skin.

Many sites on the web for help.

Oats blitzed up with a bit of water and plenty of honey. Lovely and moisturizing.

Yogurt is really good for getting rid of flaky dry skin due to the enzymes. Few tablespoons of natural yogurt (any fat percentage will do), teaspoon of honey, teaspoon of olive oil. Leave for 10 minutes, rinse. Yeo Valley does individual pots of natural yogurt if you don't have any in the house, which will be plenty for two masks.

Start with a paste of plain aspirin and water. Makes the face smooth. Then you can go for the goo afterwards.

For spotty skin:

1tsp turmeric
1tsp gram flour (or any other flour)
1tbsp plain yoghurt
1tsp honey

It's actually very very effective
