Do any eye creams actually work...?!

I have a few lines appearing around my eye area (thankfully not too many considering I'm 39, the amount of time I've spent in the sun and the fact I smoked like a chimney till 2001.) So, I am keen for them to not get too much worse. Does anyone use eye stuff that actually makes a difference? Or am I being a bit optimistic?!

I wouldnt expect a miracle but I've always used eye cream. Keeping the area moisturized has to be better than not. I'm currently using a Kiehls one

Lots of MNers on here swear by botox as the best option, in my 30s I would never imagine considering it, but now I'm mid 40s and showing my age I'm saving up.

I frown a lot and so am getting frown lines at the top of my nose. Didn't realise Botox could iron out fine lines though.

I'm unconvinced by eye creams. I think they are just a wheeze to sell us half as much snake oil for twice the price! I just use my normal moisturiser.

I'm a week into a trial of using Eyesilix cream on one eye only. I do think there is a slight difference between the two eyes. Bags and lines look a little less puffy. I am tempted to try out the alpha h eye cream on the untreated eye so I can see which of the two works better.

God no

Clinique. All about eyes.
I really notice a difference when it runs out and I buy a cheaper one to see me through until I can buy a new Clinique one.
I've read on here many times that the Aldi lacura eye cream is supposed to be good.
Not tried it myself.

Another vote for clinique, it really makes a difference in 'appearance'. I don't believe that anything other than 'appearance' is possible from a cream. If these creams really worked they would be on prescription.
