Woolovers sizing and fabric

I am considering ordering some jumpers from woolovers - what is their sizing like and which fabric is best of theirs, I don't like lambswool I find it too scratchy.

Is there anywhere else to buy nice knitwear that isn't acrylic with a good colour range for about £30 a jumper?

Sizing is generous widthways but fairly short in length
I used to buy a fair bit from Woolovers but have had lots of quality issues and havn't bought anything for 2 or 3 years, they might be ok now.

Lambswool stiff, scratchy and bobbles terribly.
Cashmere-merino mix - soft and warm but I have hardcore
2 jumpers just burst into holes after a few wears, and seams come undone too.

I get my jumpers from Lands End and Gap now, in sales or with codes. Lands End quality in particular is superb.
