Looking for a pair of the above that look good enough for teaming with a naice top for Christmas 'do's', but don't cost the earth. I don't ask for much do I?

I bought these, fantastic fit. Enough elastane to keep their shape and hold you in, a good percentage of polyester to keep the colour. Very black. A great investment.....I've worn them loads out.
