Hmmm. As it's an emergency, I'd suggest not eating anything containing wheat until Sunday and also drinking loads of water.

Yep no carbs till the wedding, no booze and loads of water!

You'll be fine!

Littlepumpkinpie · 05/12/2013 14:53

All of the above and cut dairy too.

What sort of material is the dress?

If remotely stretchy, stuff a pillow up the front whilst wearing and stretch material round and then one at the back and do the same.

Buy large tights, pull up to your armpits and wear with pants over top to stop them falling down. No harsh waist lines digging in.

Wear a control slip

An old house wifery book recommends a 'slimming bath' involving Epsom Salts (just added to bath). Never tried this, but worth a go.

You could wrap your lower half in cling film / bin bag for an evening to see if you can 'sweat it out'.

Agree with cut carbs and sugar.

Drink water, water and more water.

Oh and a body brush would get the circulation going, to encourage lymphatic drainage. (brush upwards)

Can you get some tea with milk thistle and nettle in it? twinnings do one and I find it really helps with bloating

No fizzy drinks
