Smokey Eyes - Help!

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a make up counter where they will show me how to do smokey eyes (and the products aren't £££?). Do most make up counters do free demos for this kind of thing?

Or is it really easy to do myself?

Thanks!

I'm not sure about make-up counters, the only time I had that done was by the Benefit people but im sure any counter will be able to show you :-)

It is easy to do by yourself! Have you tried youtubing it?

Theres loads of vids like this one!

Have a look on Lisa Eldridges website - she has several videos of how to do a smokey eye and look really easy.

I like Bobbi brown or MAC, they'll demo on you, no obligation to buy, you just have to tell them you're only considering and they'll write down the products for you if you want to go back later to buy. You can always say you want to wait and see how the product wears / stays on before you fork out.

Why didn't I think of online videos! will check those out! thanks!

Have got a dinner dance function on Friday night so will pop in tonight and try Bobbi Brown or Mac! :)

Benefit do a smokey eyes set with a set by step instruction pamphlet. Easy peasy to do.

ballroomblitz · 05/12/2013 13:19

step-by-step that's meant to read.

Urban Decay do a smokey pallete which has a step by step book with several different types of smokey eye.

Mac will do your make-up for you on the night for £25 which is refundable against anything you buy but I do understand you may not want to spend that much. Bobbi Brown are lovely.

I second Lis Eldridge - her tutorials are great, also Pinterest - there are loads of step-by-step pictures you can follow if you search 'smokey eye'.

Went into Mac on the way home and they dud a free demo, looks, great but I should have gone in tomorrow so I wouldn't have to redo it Smile

Will Def check out the vids and maybe swing by a couple more counters!

yy to Lisa Eldridge - she also gives yu about 10 different smokey eyes on her site. I have had my make up done at a Bobbi Brown counter and that was great :)
