Can someone *please* find me some jeans???

I have spend the day on MN searching for jeans. I practically live in them. Last time I bought some cheap 'papaya' ones from Matalan so I recently ordered some more but the same size doesn't even fasten on me and they are much thinner than the ones I bought previously so I returned them.

I want proper denim jeans, not skinnys. I've done a search on here and a lot of people seem to recommend the Gap ones but they're out of stock in my size (16, petite or short leg) and I'm getting slightly desperate for some seeing as the ones I'm wearing have a hole in the knee and are only just holding it together in the crotch Blush

Happy to pay a bit more for decent quality ones but no more than £100. Need to be in stock so I can order online. I would trail round the shops but Dd1 is ill so I can't atm.

both marks and Spencer and river island have a really good selection in at the moment.

Have a click and see if there is anything you fancy.

I don't care for gap ones as I find they grow during the day.

I'm a big fan of the Gap High Rise skinnies, currently available on-line in black in a 32. I'm a 10/12 and wear a 27 in these jeans.

Another fan of M&S bootleg jeans here. Good fit, flattering and they come in a variety of lengths.

craftynclothy · 04/12/2013 17:00

SorrelForbes Thanks but I think I need the 34.

gaggiagirl I try not to shop at M&S because MIL shops there Blush I might order some of the sale ones at River Island to see what they're like.

Any more suggestions?

Lunaballoon Those are the ones I was looking at but I'm worried that they really look like MIL's jeans. She's 25yrs older than me and would look far better in them Grin

I swear by Levis myself.

Go into one of their shops, they will measure you and find the pair that is the perfect fit.

Before discovering Levis all the jeans I bought ended up hanging off me and sagging at the bum. And I don't do skinny jeans, ever. So I was very pleased when I finally found a style and cut that suited me well and was good quality.

And they are under £100.

hanette · 04/12/2013 17:04

Next have massively proved this year - I bought two pairs and love them!

Cherrypie32 · 04/12/2013 18:10

I doubt you would need a 34 waist in Gap jeans, I'm a good 14/16 and ideally need 31 as 32 is far too big

Lambzig · 04/12/2013 19:31

I love uniqlo. They are very generous with sizing, I wear a 28 waist and am a size 12 (that's not why I like them though). They are reasonably cheap, don't go baggy and wash well.

I recently bought uniqlo bootleg and am living in them at the moment.

foxysocks · 04/12/2013 19:52

I would look at the outnet. Lots of great styles at reduced prices, will be loads under £100. Their CS is excellent so if you are unsure on sizing they cs probably send measurements of specific styles.

craftynclothy · 04/12/2013 20:25

The Outnet, Uniqlo and Gap don't have anything in my size in a short enough leg.

I have seen some at Superdry but Dh went to the store and they didn't have any in. He's got me some of the Vintage Slim ones from Next to try and I might order the Superdry ones as it's free delivery.

If neither of those fit then I'll have to find a day next week to go to the Levi's store.

I'm a 16 and have always loved M&s bootlegs.

The indigo slim bootleg jeans are just superb

FracturedViewOfLife · 04/12/2013 20:39

Next petite jeans are what I usually buy but I find I need to size up in the petite range.

Sexykitten2005 · 04/12/2013 21:56

I swear by new look jeans. Only thing I would every buy in there (the rest of their stock is just too young for me) but the jeans are all really well proportioned and they loads of different cuts, me, my mum and my niece all get our jeans in there all v different body shapes and they'd it well and last ages.
