Or does it sink into pores etc. I also wondered about elizabeth arden mineral foundation. I tend to impulse buy and regret after so this time I wanted to get opinions. Thanks.

I hate it but bought it because others on here rave about it.

I do agree it can feel a bit drying but personally I prefer that to the waxy heavy feeling of regular foundation. It's cheaper online than in boots depending on the offer, try and get made over and see if you like it before splashing out.

Yes that is a good idea. I worry about it settling in my pores.

If you're interested in mineral make up then I would look into Bella Pierre foundation, it is excellent.

Don't rate Bare Minerals at all.

Chipstick10 · 03/12/2013 20:17

I use bare minerals. It doesn't settle in my pores. It looks dead natural and I'm very happy with it. I apply it with the bobbi brown full coverage face brush.

I really like it, I can't get on with liquid foundation. I went to the counter at debs to try it out first, you need a decent moisturiser and primer for it to work.

VarsityQueen · 03/12/2013 23:02

I like it. It's better for skins at the oilier end of the spectrum as the natural oils meld with the product. I like the way you can vary the coverage. There seems to be shade variation between the loose and compact versions so watch out for that! I prefer the loose but then it can get a bit messy especially when travelling

I have Bare Minerals (I don't wear make-up unless I'm really making an effort) lazy caaah emoticon Blush

I like it, but you need to apply sparingly and buff for two choruses of "Happy Birthday to you".

I've got the primer too, but I've not worn both together.

(And I like the fact it doesn't go 'off', which is something I noticed with liquids)

And I've even used the concealer on my teen DS when he's had a noticeable spot.
He was "Oh, Mum I'm not wearing make-up"
then "Oh, that's not bad"

I love the Matt version of Bare Minerals - it gives a very natural no make up look. I don't get on with the original version at all - looks metallic and unnatural on me.

Chipstick10 · 04/12/2013 07:33

I also use the matt version and also use it on teen ds when he has a breakout. Also just using a little under the eye as concelor is fab. No mess no rubbing off, it's great.

I hate it. The bismuth in it burns and itches my skin. My mum can't wear it either.

Dillydollydaydream · 04/12/2013 08:50

I like the coverage as you can build it up. However, it does itch/prickle slightly around my nose area, not sure why weirdo

valiumredhead · 04/12/2013 12:49

The bisque concealer is the best make up item I have ever discovered. Fact.Wink

My friend has really oily skin and she used the loreal mineral foundation as its cheaper than the bare minerals brand. I tried some but it doesn't work for my skin but I think if you do suffer from bad skin it may be the way to go.
