Spots after getting tache waxed

I waxed my tache using some veet strips yesterday and I've got loads of little red spots and my skin looks red and shiny. Last time this happened (beauty salon did it) the spots which were like pustules, hung around for about a fortnight. Does anyone know how to sort this and to stop it happening next time? Ta!

It's because you have open hair follicles and pores due to waxing. Whatever you do, do not use oil to remove any residual wax, use aloe or witch hazel and a cold compress to close the pores. Put sudocrem on the spots before you go to bed and they should dissappear or at least go down over night.

That's great thanks! When you say not to use oil does that include the wipe things are included in the veet box?

ye they always provide those wipes in any waxing kit but if you already have, oily, sensitive or combination skin then they are best avoided. If you ars going to use them to remove wax, I suggest cleansing the area straight after with cold water and then apply a soothing lotion. Smile Smile
