trouser length

I've just bought some black slim straight legged formal trousers - in the pic on the website the model is wearing them with heels and they are about level with the ankle bone. I only ever wear flats or small heels (am tall) - so what length should the trousers be in that case?

You can still wear them to the ankle. Looks more modern than when they cover the front of your shoes, and being tall you can carry it off!

Oh good - I bought the regular length and wondered if I'd need to swop them for the long, which from past experience is always just a bit too long...
