Eyebrow tint or stick to using pencil?

Just wondered if there's a consensus on how to deal with very fair eyebrows? Mine are very blonde, to the point that I can barely see them to pluck myself, so I get them waxed whenever I realise that my eyeshadow is being applied directly onto fur!

I usually use a Clarins eyebrow pencil in brown and just use that with its brush to darken up what I have.

So I have booked in for a wax next Monday, and am contemplating a tint to save having to bother with the pencil.

Is that a bit of a gamble as I am so fair, and the tint might look oddly dark?

Mine are v v fair (natural redhead) and I have them threaded and tinted. May have a pic somewhere if it helps!

oh goodasitgets you're braver than me - I had them threaded a few times and it was just so so painful I decided to stick to waxing; have got quite used to that now!

But good to know that you're happy with tinting despite being very fair - I do like that idea of not having to bother with the pencil but have never trusted that I wouldn't look like Liam Gallagher if they were dyed. I don't think I can carry off a 'statement brow'....

There are a number of colours they can use and they can mix them. Worth a try imo

Here you go, it is dark for the first 48hrs or so

That looks great! Thanks for reassuring me - think I'll go for it!

Good decision.
I always have my brows tinted - saves such a lot of faff.

Yes, it probably will look a bit dark for first day or so - so don't have them done on eve of an important event. But I find, if you go for something too 'natural'/ pale initially, it wears off too fast.
