Soap and glory one with the fat brush - can't remember the name, sorry!

georgedawes · 01/12/2013 10:19

Is that One that thickens the lashes?

Should have said I have long eye lashes so it's the thickening type I need.

Max factor 2000 calorie or the one in the green tube .. can't remember which one! Both really good.

georgedawes · 01/12/2013 10:27

Used to get 2000 calorie but didn't like it as much last time. Will have a look for the other one.

I like Rimmel Sacndaleyes Retro Glam, I have long lashes and this stuff thickens them up and hasn't flaked or smudged on me yet. I think it's priced around £7 or thereabouts

TessTackle · 01/12/2013 11:18

Bourjois ultra care glamour (something like that) white tube anyhow. It nourishes and thickens your lashes.

TossedSaladsAndScrambledEggs · 01/12/2013 11:19

I ordered an Elizabeth Arden one on groupon for about £8 the other day. It is fab.

JohnSnowsTie · 01/12/2013 11:21

Max Factor Masterpiece Max.

georgedawes · 01/12/2013 11:35

All different opinions! Not sure which to go for!

L'oreal Lash Architect just to throw another one in there! 3 for 2 in Boots so 3 for £20 at the mo.

georgedawes · 01/12/2013 11:56

Even more confused! Got the 2000 calorie one on 3 for 2 last time and it was rubbish. Don't have much money so want to get it right this time.

Another vote for Masterpiece Max.

tweetytwat · 01/12/2013 14:30

I've just opened a Max Factor Masterpiece, haven't used this one recently. It's really good. Goes on nicely, builds up to a fairly dramatic look.
www.fragrancedirect.co.uk/bourjois/bourjois-1001-cils-mascara-8ml/invt/0032840 This Bourjois one is quite good as well but I prefer the brush on the MaxFactor one.

AuntieMaggie · 01/12/2013 14:31

Rimmel London Lash Accelarator Endless Lash Mascara - a bright green/yellow tube and black lid. Stayed put after lots of crying and got complimented on it. I hate the chunky ones - they do nothing for my lashes and I end up with smudges on my lids!

JohnSnowsTie · 01/12/2013 14:32

My friend who's a nail technician used Faux Effect by YSL for years but changed to MFMPM on my recommendation. She now raves about it and has converted many clients!

timidviper · 01/12/2013 14:35

Masterpiece Max won The Times best mascara award at some point I think. I like it

georgedawes · 01/12/2013 16:51

Ok think I'm convinced to go for the max factor one, thanks!

Lash architect +1

Scarletohello · 01/12/2013 19:30

Another vote for Max Factor ( but I prefer waterproof one)

aftereight · 02/12/2013 09:36

Max Factor Falsh Lash Effect Fusion. I have short blonde lashes and it makes them long and dark

aftereight · 02/12/2013 09:36

*False

ElizabethBathory · 02/12/2013 09:48

Max Factor False Lash Effect is the best mascara I've ever used - better than ones twice the price. Masterpiece Max is also great, but I prefer the brush of False Lash.

stephenisjustcoming · 02/12/2013 10:35

Another vote for Max Factor False Lash Effect. Max Factor do great mascaras (although to be honest I'd be hard pushed to tell the difference between False Lash Effect/Masterpiece/2000 Cals in a blind test...)

ElizabethBathory · 02/12/2013 10:53

that's true actually stephen - I'd say 2000 cal is slightly more clumpy and false lash slightly more volumising, but that could be my imagination!
