I am returning from the desert after 5 years and I haven't worn a jumper for about that long! Or boots!:) what do i need? What would be your essentials? I don't want to go mad spending but I need some bits to see me through.

I need a few bits to carry me through to spring as I won't have time to go shopping and I will buy online to be delivered for when I arrive. I'm going to be in the countryside but I want to look stylish and be warm. I'll be doing the school run walking and driving sometimes and working from home. I never wear trainers except for running, and I don't like leggings and tunics.

I have already
Straight indigo jeans
Skinny indigo jeans
Brown leather flat knee length boots ( 7 years old but lovely)
Black suede boots, flat knee length ( 6 years old but lovely)
Some black woollen tights
A black woollen cape ( not keen)
Long grey beautiful coat cashmere and wool 10 years old, lovely
Pink cashmere v neck jumper
Blue as above
Cashmere coloured pashminas, pink, purple, navy.

All my other stuff is for heat so will have to wait for summer:)

So- what else do I need or will I need to completely revamp my stuff so not to look hopelessly out of date and old? I have seen shift dresses with tights and short boots, which looks good, but I am willing to be put right:)

Some wooly skirts if you are wearing skirts.
Gloves.
Wellies.
A hat.
Gillet.
Warm layers and socks. :)
