Mango coat sizing help please

I'm about to purchase this parka from Mango however I'm slightly confused at the sizing.

I was thinking large, I'm a 12 bottom and 14 top (mainly for boobs), however ASOS reckons an XL is a 14! Do Mango not cater for anybody over a 14?!

Has anybody got this coat or any coat from Mango that can help please? I don't tend to do layers and I'm 5'2 so don't want a massive coat with ridiculously long arms..

Thank you

I have this coat and am also 5'2. It was one if the only coats that fit my shortish arms quite well so you'll be fine on that front. I'm a size UK 6-8 and bought the XS which fits nicely.

Surely S = 10 / M = 12 / L = 14 / XL = 16

So I think you'd take the large. But perhaps you should order the XL as well to try and return what you don't need?

The sizing probably is on the small size. I like my coats fitted and I am very petite. The fact that XS works for me means it could be closer to a UK 6 rather than an 8.

I have a mango mac in medium, I'm a 12 so I agree you go for L possibly XL too to try both

def get both if you can, in find their sizes vary a bit but usually (ime) they come up smaller

theoriginalandbestrookie · 30/11/2013 08:25

Sizing is small. I am a 12-14 like you and bought a lovely coat but had to get xl. So no they don't cater for bigger sizes guess there is less requirement in Spain for them.
Still thrilled with my coat quality is much better than I expected .

Sorry ignore my last post - just went downstairs to get coffee and thought I would double check my coat lable.

It's a L not an XL so I reckon you'd be fine with the L as mine is a more fitted version of yours:
Looks much nicer in real life - 4 weeks in I still love it !

Thank you for responses guys!

I'm gonna order both and see how I get on. Couldn't stand it if I ordered one and then the other sold out!
