Dress for size 18 :(

I am going to a very naice evening for new year celebrations.

I am a very unhappy size 18. I wear things to hide in and hate wearing anything nice as I feel really crap. I live in jeans and jumpers.

I want to look nice. I want to feel great, I don't want to hide in something boring.

Have you got any tips that can help me.

callmenancy I have a Moonsoon Oriane dress. It is fantastic. The shape it gives is fab. Mine is green with a spot print.

I wore a black Monsoon Oriane dress to a wedding (I am also a size 18). It is very flattering and you can always wear a nice shrug too to cover your arms. I wore a pashmina.

I've got that dress Tethersend linked to, and it really is fab. I'm a 16 and should really have returned it for a 14, but I was going on holiday and couldn't be bothered. Very flattering, and I'm all a dither about getting another one in the sale.

No. I already have this which is awesome. I wear it loads, night and day. I think that because it's cotton it's a bit more versatile. Plus it's added warmth on a winters day Grin

I sized down as advised. I am 12/14 with larger boobs and small back. I do hope the 12 fits. I am excited now.

Don't worry cunty-the 12 will fit-the Dolores style is made from a very stretchy cotton. I have 4 of them so I should know!!

LAdy V London has a sale on . The 50s dresses hide a load of sins and they also do a longer length one. Then get a proper sticky out petticoat and maybe a small shrug ( I got mine from New Look !!!) I had a posh summer do and was stuck as you . Then had hair put up nicely... I felt great !
