Just run out of Chanel Perfection Lumiere - literally cannot get a squeeze out so a horribly foundation-free day for me til I can get to the shops this arvo.

lumiere's treated me well enough so I was just going to go for the same again, but then I thought I'd check in with you 'orrible lot first to see if there's anything particularly wonderful out there at the mo?

Pretty undemanding skin, occasional spot. Looking just for lovely even coverage. GO!

Bourjois healthy mix serum. Fantastic stuff and £10.

Rimmel match perfection x

Or look at Mumsnet reviews

Laura Mercier Silk Creme is dewy, silky gorgeousness.

Myneaux · 29/11/2013 11:48

Ysl teint éclat....medium coverage, gives nice dewy look and perfect colour match for my fair skin

Walnut8 · 29/11/2013 12:48

If you've found something that matches your skin tone and sits well on your skin, I'd stick to it!
Otherwise Lancome Teinte Idole Ultra and GA Luminous Silk (both medium coverage) ...
Perfection Lumiere is very drying on me though.

I'd suggest bourjois healthy mix - normal version if you want normal coverage and serum version for lighter coverage. Bourjois products are owned/made by Chanel so likely to suit you if you like Chanel foundation. I'd also recommend makeupalley website for makeup and beauty product reviews:
www.makeupalley.com/product/?
as you get large volume of reviews and can search by reviewer's skin type etc. It can save you money as you can avoid buying anything rubbish byt checking there first.

I like Mac Face and Body. I apply one layer for a natural coverage but you can build it up. Big bottle too.

People often recommend Bourjois Healthy Mix. I might try that next (like to try different ones).

Bourjous healthy mix. Not the serum one ( might be great too but I've never tried it). It's excellent, good medium coverage, light feeling and looks pretty much invisible. It matches my skin perfectly too, although that depends on colouring!
