Blusher!
Not a dark one that might look Aunt Sally, a pale one just brushed over your cheeks with a big brush & gently skim the residue over your forehead & chin. It works! Believe me, I doubt anyone is paler than me, if my eyes weren't turquoise rather than pink, I'd be albino hair & skin both.

Bronzer

pinkpeoniesx · 29/11/2013 10:17

Chanel Les Beiges!!! I'm the same and I use this in no.20, I'm too pale for a normal bronzer, they're way too harsh and can look a bit 'muddy' on me. The Chanel is great and really light. Also a good highlighter around my eyes and on cheekbones does wonders. I use a soap and glory powder one and benefit high beam Smile

Definitely blush and bronze suited for a pale skin tone. I'm the same - except not so much pale but I just look sort of dead and grey without a bit of bronzer and blush.

Walnut8 · 29/11/2013 10:45

I have to get in and try this Chanel stuff!

FruitSaladIsNotPudding · 29/11/2013 10:47

Good blusher and colour on your lips. I wear a pinky neutral lipstick most days, it makes my pale skin look good.

It's great stuff Walnut! 10% off on house of Fraser today!

Depends on your colouring. Pale skinned strawberry blonde here and I love a pink cream blusher (Clarins do a great one)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/11/2013 17:46

I am pale and not v interesting. Bronzer just makes me look filthy. I like Benetint and Dandelion - Dandelion just gives a general lift and Benetint gives nice rosy cheeks. Max Factor cream blusher (the one which is absolutely bright pink in the pot) is excellent too.

Elsiequadrille · 29/11/2013 17:52

I've never managed to get to grips with bronzer. I bought some Laura Mercier bronzer after a tutorial in Space NK but it never looked right when I tried to apply it.

I'm very pale and religiously use Chanel le blanc illuminating base (warmed to this after being unsure initially), and Chanel blush in rose ecrin colour.

I am also translucent/pale blue. I use a light facial fake tan in winter t avoid scaring people who might otherwise think I am one of the undead. Vita liberata (Boots) is pretty good.

IslaValargeone · 29/11/2013 20:53

Light fake tan.
I know people on here can get very sneery about it, but it's not a choice between tango and Morticia Adams, there are degrees in between.

SwedishEdith · 29/11/2013 20:57

Tinted moisturiser.

What colours do you wear? (Clothes, I mean)

feelinlucky · 29/11/2013 22:18

Why would you want to. Pale is stunning. All you need to do is compliment your beautiful colouring. I suggest a trip to a mac counter and some free advice on what suits. I'm pale and wear dark pillar box red lipstick and not much definition elsewhere. I'll bet you're much more interesting than you think. Embrace your pale, that's what I say fir what it's worth :)

ShreddedHoops · 29/11/2013 22:52

There's no problem wth being pale at all! If you look greyish or generally not glowy, it's nothing a decent foundation and some cream blusher wouldn't fix. Try YSL Touché Éclat foundation (get colour matched) and Clinique stick cream blusher. And a lippy - Revlon Butter ones are ace.

If you've been using cheaper foundation it might not be light enough - drugstore brands like Rimmel etc rarely go light enough.

FruitSaladIsNotPudding · 01/12/2013 10:29

Pale skin is much more beautiful than fake tanned skin, it just needs a little help - good foundation and a blusher that suits you.
