I would like to recommend a down jacket for anyone interested

After reading all the messages here on the North Face Acrtic parka for women I was all set on getting one.
Went to try it on in Cotswold Outdoor and though it was very comfy it looked extremely unflattering on me(I am 5.3 and a size 16).

Ended up getting the Colombia jacket below and it is fantastic. Really really warm and a flattering fit.

Just thought I would mention it as I have been looking for a suitable down jacket at a reasonable price for ages.

We're the same stature, what size did you buy ?

I would normally get a large but need room for bust too !

I got an XL Duchess as I need lots of room for my chest too!

I have this jacket too - love it. It is a slim fit though so be aware that you will probably have to order one size larger than you normally are otherwise you won't get a jumper on under it.
