Help me find a smart, practical and cheapish handbag!

I'm lugging work papers around in either a rucksack or a ropey 10 year old handbag at the moment, so frankly anything will be an improvement.

I need a leather bag that is big enough to carry around an A4 pad and that will look smart and professional. I wear mostly grey / black in the office, and have a red overcoat and a grey overcoat. So not sure what colour would be best. I have a maximum budget of around £100.

I was thinking about a leather satchel type bag, but now thinking that's not really smart enough.

Any ideas?

Not leather but what about this Kipling bag? I have it in yellow and it's great. Loads of compartments (including one for your brolly!). I got mine cheap on Amazon - admittedly a wee while ago now.
