Help me find a smart man's bag

I would like to get my husband a bag for Christmas. He has a briefcase for work but it's so ancient I wonder if his colleagues are all sniggering at him!
I was thinking something leather, over the shoulder, big enough for A4 files or a laptop. Smart enough for work, but not massively old-fashioned.
I am having a look on John Lewis, and ASOS but realised looking after small children has left me hopelessly out of touch with what professional people wear! What kinds of bags do men carry to work?! Can anyone help? I'd like to get him something reasonably trendy (hate that word but you know what I mean) as left to himself, bless him, he has zero sense of style, and is always pleased if he has something up to date. I suppose I want to avoid those suitcase style briefcases with the combination locks..,. Unless the wisdom of S and b tells me that they are all the thing now!
Budget say £50 -£100. And I need to buy it online. Am so grateful for any help.

I got a lovely one for my DH last Christmas, was John rocha at Debenhams and I got it on one of their sale days. He sounds very like your DH and he loved it. It was similar to these (and there's a sale on!!)
