Warm gloves/mittens for DC recommendations

Preparing for winter, dc have thermal gloves though still finding them cold today. Half hour walk to dd school then onto preschool, ds1 is on buggy board ds2 in pram. I wear leather gloves but thinking sheepskin lined?? Tried ski gloves but we looked like goalies

Not particularly cheap but we have those fingerless gloves with the folding mitten bit over them. From Gap, lovely and fleecy, second year in use but saw them in the shops again this year. Ds finds them quite versatile but warm
