Interview outfit help needed!

Job is office based, I'm nearly 50 - but am frequently told I look younger!!! (preen, preen)
Slim build, 5'4"".

Outfit must be trousers, as I don't like wearing skirts or dresses. Should I buy smart black trousers with a top or wear a trouser suit?
And footwear? Was thinking new high heeled (not mumsy!) boots.

Any suggestions please?

Trouser suit, definitely - trousers and a top might be fine for day to day work once you get the job, but a suit is better for interview. The boots sound fine as long as you can walk in them (I couldn't).

Clean, groomed look, minimal nail colour etc. The best handbag you own.

And good luck!

Definitely trouser suit.

Neat boots under trousers will be fine.

Thanks, went into town and couldn't see any trousers I liked (not a great choice) so off to the city tomorrow to try again.

I got a trouser suit (although bought as separates) from Next for my recent interview. I'm 5ft 3 so got petite in the trousers. Didn't opt for black or navy. I went for grey with a white blouse.

Good luck!

p.s I got my job Grin

I bought a grey one from Next today! Hope mine's as lucky for me as yours was for you! Grin
