I'm thinking of going to the Swindon outlet village tomorrow mainly because there's a Charles twhyritt (sp?) and dh likes their shirts. But they have so many offers on anyway I'm wondering if I'll get anything cheaper than usual.

It's about a 40min drive down the m4 so just wondered if anyone had any opinions to as whether it's worth my while.....

The title should say any good obviously. Bloody iPad.

It's quite nice as outlet villages go. I thought the Ted Baker store was pretty good.

I like it for a mooch around. Sometimes there are bargains aplenty, sometimes utter tat.

Steer clear of the Cadbury shop though. Not a bargain at all.

LK Bennett, Hobbs and Fossil are good there - nice outlet centre

It's alright - Street is better, but I live in the middle of both and can be choosy! There's a good Next, and a Gap which usually has good offers, M&S is very hit and miss. Fossil, Whittards, massive home/Yankee candle section, Calvin Klein, Watch Station - all very good. It depends what you're after, look online and see what shops they have that you would be interested in. Parking is £1 for 5 hours, really reasonable, & they have a food court with standard type things plus an Eds Diner (always huge queues) and a Starbucks & Costa.

Thanks all. Online looks good but I've been to some outlets before and have been disappointed. Think I'll give it a go.
