What's your skincare routine?

And how old are you with what sort of skin?

I'm nearly 40 (eek) with normal skin but get the occasional hormonal spot. I've never really done anything to my skin before - occasionally splashed some soap and water on plus a bit of whatever moisturiser is lying around but think I need to be a bit more grown up about it.

I bought some Estée Lauder Night Repair stuff but would welcome some other pointers - what to use, when etc. I am reasonably good at remembering to slap on some SPF30 under my makeup....

I'm 45, have skin that's a little sensitive I think but pretty much well behaved (apart from the odd spot every so often...usually caused by not taking make-up off at night after too much wine!).

My routine isn't to everyone's tastes but I use coconut oil and hot wet cotton pads to cleanse my face and remove make-up. The bonuses are it's totally natural (unlike the marketing BS "natural"), not tested on animals, works well, and leaves my face moisturised (not greasy though) so I don't need to buy a separate moisturiser either.

I don't use any serums or anti-wrinkle creams as I'm just not convinced they work; I'm afraid I have a massive distrust of the beauty industry.

These wipes for makeup removal

and one La Roche Posay moisturiser.

My skin has been consistently clear and glowing (not one single spot) ever since getting rid of my over complicated skin care routine last year!

Simple refreshing facial wash
Clarins multi active day cream for day
Body shop aloe vera night cream for night
Weekly exfoliation with a muslin cloth

I'm 31 with combination skin, the odd hormonal spot every few months. My skin is best when I'm consistent with the products I use and don't overload it with too many different/new ones.

I'm thinking of going back to eve lom cleanser. I used to use it religiously and my skin was perfect and got compliments. I quit when I wanted to save money but actually it lasts ages and I wouldn't need to use night cream or so much Clarins if I went back to it...
