Bravura London?

Has anybody ordered skincare from Bravura? I know they sell the dermaflannel which everybody went nuts for earlier this year, but what about their cleansers and moisturisers? I was looking at the ingredients and some of their products look Caroline Hirons friendly. I am too scared for DIY peels btw.

Bumping because I'm interested too!

Well I've Bly ordered the DIY peels from them and found them excellent. They're cheap and really work well, as unlike many skincare products they have a high enough concentration of their active ingredients to make a difference. I can't comment on their other products, but felt the service was also very good.

Bly = only

KosherBacon · 24/11/2013 16:20

Thanks IceCreamCravings . The peels get good reviews on makeup alley too, but people don't seem to try their other stuff.

i use their moisturiser and the foaming face wash. swear by the night treatment stuff with hydrocycli whatsit in it.

chipsandpeas · 24/11/2013 19:12

i've used them and had no problems with them, i got the diy peels as ewll

Iatemyskinnyperson · 24/11/2013 19:26

I liked the rejuvenating cleanser but I found the packaging annoying. It comes in a little metal bottle, you have to pay extra for a pump.

I got the glycolic moisturiser which was pretty good too. It's been reformulated since I got it, no mineral oil in it now.

The moisturisers are good value, not sure the cleanser was- the bottle was only 100ml. Most cleansers I have are double that.

The reason i bought was for the glycolic acid content. I did like all the products & found them effective & nice to use.

I was on the sizzling threads about a year and a half ago, tried the peels but didn't see enough of a different to warrant raving about them....
Alpha H Liquid Gold range is better

goodasitgets · 24/11/2013 19:30

The ginseng toner is nice

MissFoodie · 24/11/2013 19:31

I used the ginseng toner every day for about 2 months and it made no difference, I am convinced the GA% is not as high as they claim on the label

KosherBacon · 24/11/2013 20:22

I'm torn between trying the bravura stuff and an alpha h kit, that is on qvc, although I begrudge paying £50 for it when it was a tsv for £35.

Bugger it. Just bought this for £43.96 using a 15% off code XMAS12. It's got three Caroline Hirons approved products- the liquid gold, essential moisturiser and balancing cleanser). With p&p the qvc set would have been £10 more and some of the sizes weren't as generous and I think the cleanser in the LF kit is meant to be better and bigger.
