Best moisturiser recommendations

I have dry skin and tend to get redness in the winter. I want a really good moisturiser that will stop my foundation from getting a flaky look half way through the day. What can I use to give my 42 year old skin a dewy, youthful glow?!? (Yes, I need a miracle!)
I can't afford £100 a pot, but am prepared to spend up to £50 if it's really, really worth it. Any suggestions?

I am 53 and have usedDermalogica age smart moisturiser for years which is excellent (about £45 from Beautyflash online)

I got a free pot of Clinique moisture surge and have to say it's very good too.

Neal's Yard Frankincense cream. As your skin is dry, get the Nourishing one. It's less than £25 a pot.
I'd recommend you go to a NYR shop to buy if you can, they'll give you samples but also the Frankincense does smell of frankincense and some people don't like the smell.
