I'd second Mitchum. I always buy different brands though as I'm convinced my body gets used to wearing the same deodorant all the time and it becomes less effective. Not sure how much truth there is in that though...

No felix I think that's what has happened.

Is it mitchum roll on you have been using?

I found that the roll on one stopped working for me too- I switched to the the unscented solid one and it works a treat.

Haha sorry I'm being really thick and didn't realise it was you that wrote the second post! I agree though try swapping to another type of it, so try the spray or solid one or vice versa.

Thanks will try that. No more sweaty Betty !

I like the dove no white marks one and the crystal one called Pit Rok (Amazon). The latter can be 'rolled' (rubbed) under arms while still wet - when get out of shower. Works really well.

valiumredhead · 23/11/2013 21:31

Mitchum stick, powder fresh.

KosherBacon · 23/11/2013 21:49

I've just discovered pikrock crystal and I love it. I realised it took five days to totally get rid of the film left by Sure deodorant on my underarms. I always thought they had a weird feeling, and it was a coating left by the deodorant.

I thought the crystal stuff was going to be some hippy crap, and for the first week had DH sniffing my pits to double check it was working.

Shlurpbop · 23/11/2013 21:53

Another vote for crystal deodorants - I get mine from Holland and Barrett and either like the ice one in blue packaging or the crystal one in clear packaging.
Agree with Kosher about the coating from chemical deodorants.

itsnothingoriginal · 23/11/2013 22:43

I bought Sure 'Maximum Protection' after a recommendation on here and its really good. I also found Mitcham stopped working for me.

Interesting about the crystal ones though might look into those too...

Boots unperfumed sensitive skin roll-on. Cheap as chips, effective and non-irritating. Ticks all boxes.
