Mulberry Continental wallet

I'll try and keep it brief...

I owe my Dsis a 40th birthday present
I have the wallet in oak and she commented that she would like one
She would be blown away if she got one for Xmas, BUT....

Mine was a gift from DH a couple of years ago and he paid just north of £200. I just checked the Mulberry website and they are now £275!!!

Any ideas where I could get a new one closer to the £200. I've heard of inflation but that is crazy!

Wow they seem to have really gone up. I noticed that when I looked a while ago.

Factory shop? Can't remember when they are. Think there is one in Bath maybe.

Good luck. (I wish you was my sister Wink )

Call the Mulberry outlets at Bicester and Cheshire Oaks - they often have them, and will post them to you.

sweetmelody · 23/11/2013 19:55

Thank you both. I thought of the outlets but didn't think they would do the classic colours. And had no idea they would post.

DH wants a satchel/briefcase too

They are rare in the factory shop but 30% cheaper.

Biscester won't give over the phone stock updates .
I tried !!!! I was there last weekend and the purses were rubbish.

£275 for a purse??

To be very honest, i really don't think they are worth that much money - you are paying for the name. I am not bitter because i can't afford one but its a purse!! My DP bought me a radley purse for my birthday and i was mortified, don't get me wrong, i love it but it was £50 - a weeks food shopping, now i worry more about losing my purse than i do the money in it!

SAying that, lucky sister - she is lucky to have such a generous sister to spoil her for her 40th, could you not buy her a cheaper purse and get her a pamper day (weekend!) with the rest of the money?
