HOC style day

How does it work? Anyone been to one? Do you have to strip off so they can tell your body shape? Have no idea what suits me and what doesn't (apart from maybe I think nothing suits me!) so am very tempted by the style day. Just wondered if someone could give me a bit more information on it.

You have to strip down to undies or similar eg tights and cami, close fitting t shirt

LCHammer · 23/11/2013 11:44

Do you get to try on different clothes? So a pencil skirt, a flippy one etc.

I worry a bit I might have to change my entire wardrobe.

KristinaM · 23/11/2013 11:51

The consultant will ask you to bring some of your own clothes with you eg some thing you love but never wear, something you wear all the time,

Changing your whole wardrobe -most people start to make small changes -make up, nail polish or a scarf in their colours. Then move onto new tops . I don't think many people can afford to throw out everything and start again. Anyway you will probably find that lots of things you have already are fine . They might not be your best colours but they will do until you get round to replacing them

Have you had your colours done? If not, I think you would want to get style and colour done together

Thanks Kristina, have had my colours done recently. Itching to buy new clothes in my best colours but don't want to get style wrong.

I loved mine (and took leggings and a vest for the shape analysis bit)! Not as instantly revelatory as the colours day but over time (3 months on) it has made a big diff to hw I put outfits together and how I shop.

I'll go once money's better and weight stable.
